There is a wealth of art galleries in Cambridge and then there is THE ART HOUND, which I came to know through a mutual connection at a local event where I was first introduced to presenter/Art Hound Gallery Director, Tom Arnold.
The ART HOUND ‘explores the connections between Pop Art, Abstract Art and Contemporary Art and, with a focus on experimental works on paper and original printmaking, you can find the latest Urban and Contemporary artists alongside Cornish abstracts and French Lithographs from the Modern masters’.

They say first impressions are lasting impressions, but I've had many a first impression when I've popped in here, first to have a browse through their displays like a kid in a candy shop, and then to match colour with quality paint on several other occasions. PROVIDENCE was established more than twenty-five years ago as cabinetmakers in Cambridge. On display are freestanding cabinets, Shaker rails & shelves as well as cupboards, bookcases and kitchen cabinetry, all made to order through their bespoke service. Traditional high quality utility, home ware and hardware (hooks, handles, brushes & knobs) and braided woollen mats and runners are imported from New England and available at the shop.
PROVIDENCE also offer fine paint from brands like Mylands, Farrow & Ball, Earthborn as well as their own high quality Providence Paint brand.
